DIFFERENTIATION

OUR DISTINCT ADVANTAGE

We take pride in our ability to provide a unique and high-quality manufacturing environment that allows us to meet the needs of the market.

Webbing Products strives to be a trailblazer in the webbing manufacturing industry – setting and conforming to only the highest standards, which we persistently and tenaciously endeavour to maintain. Central to our organisational values is a customer-focused approach and, in addition to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards, we work hard to exceed customer expectations, by striving for service excellence at all times.

QUALITY, EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

At Webbing Products, we are fastidious in our application of safety and quality standards. This stems from our consideration of the wide applications of webbing products in industry. Webbing is used in everything from tying down bulk loads on long-haul transportation to the manufacture of safety harnesses for working at heights, to use in various military applications. As such, the safety of our clients and end users is of paramount importance to us. We strive to be the best-in-class in our field and produce superior products for our clients. Safety, in particular, is something we do not take lightly – and to this end, we adhere to international safety standards and industry best practice.

We opened our doors in 1956, and have gone from strength to strength since. Our company name is a registered trademark in both South Africa and Australia, and we are part of and supported by the SA Bias Industries group – an international group of companies, with headquarters in Cape Town.

We pride ourselves on our excellent team, which has many long-serving employees that collectively give our brand the specialised expertise and customer service we need in order to manufacture and deliver superior quality products. Our in-house laboratory utilises state-of-the-art equipment for quality and testing procedures, which ensures our exceptionally high standards are maintained. Added to this, our webbing is inspected, uniquely identified and packaged to ensure traceability and protection during storage and transportation.

Our ISO 9001:2015 certification from DEKRA, assures strict compliance with safety standards, which results in superb quality in the manufacture of our products. These qualities are vitally important to our local and international client base.

OUR MANUFACTURING PLANT

We are proud to house our manufacturing operation (which is over 5000m2 in size) in the stunning coastal city of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Our location means that we are perfectly situated to serve the needs of our clients by having easy access to all major transportation and export routes.

We are proud to offer diversity in our range of manufacturing capabilities – manufacturing superior webbing ranging from 5mm to 320mm in width. We utilise a number of high-speed needle looms in our facility which enable us to customise designs and develop new products for our clients. Our factory is fully staffed and has the ability to run production lines 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when required.

We have a wide range of manufacturing and finishing capabilities, which include various weave types, on-site dyeing, specialised finishes, printing and cut-to-length services.

Our on-site dyeing capabilities utilise European continuous dyeing equipment for consistent and cost-effective colouring and production.

We can further improve the safety of our clients’ orders by applying specialises finishes – including flamed retardant, anti-static, stiffening agents, Teflon coating and water- and mould-resistant finishes.

ON-SITE TESTING LABORATORY

Because of our quest for superior safety standards, our in-house testing facility works tirelessly to ensure that our products comply with stringent safety specifications.

We are able to continually and consistently test our products in-house, and ensure that our products exceed expectations in keeping our clients – and the end users, safe.

To make sure that we exceed even our own stringent safety values, we also utilise outside testing facilities for independent verification of our in-house quality and testing results.

We provide testing for energy absorption, combustibility, flammability, tensile strength, breakage, abrasion, construction analysis, thread and yarn count, and electrical conductivity – amongst others. Our testing facilities comply with the specifications for global markets, ensuring that the quality of the product supplied is guaranteed.

By choosing Webbing Products, you are always assured of the highest standards in safety and service, and in our ability to distribute your product on time and to spec – no matter where in the world you are based.
